Mbodiène is a hamlet on the Petite Côte between Nianing and Joal. It's a village of Serer farmers between the sea and the Mbour-Joal road. Sorghum is grown here almost exclusively. It's a really nice place to be, with pleasant walks. I invite you to attend Sunday mass in the pretty church of the small village of Mbodiene, to the sound of the djembes, at the heart of the country's Catholic community. You'll discover the special stained-glass windows at the bottom of the bottle in this place of meditation.

It has been an unforgettable experience of getting closer to African culture and its people thanks to the extraordinary work of our Spanish guide Malick (Senegal Voyage). Only two of us and Malick, so totally private tour via Senegal cities. Second trip to Dakar conect with Salt Lake and nice adventure on old Paris Dakar desert. That was a proposal of Malick to connect that trip and that was a great idea. Malick is speaking english so the communication was easy and we hear a lot about Senegal. It was very safe. He is a great professional, punctual, attentive to our needs and who teaches you to love his country. With him we did the airport/hotel transfers and the excursions to the shalom delta, the mangroves, we visited villages, Conchas Island, Goree Island...the local guides he chose for us were also very friendly. Monique K2024-02-07A very reliable guide! Looking for an English speaking guide in Senegal I found Malick here on trip advisor and contacted him a few weeks before arrival. I told him which places I would like to visit and he came up with a nice itinerary and a good price. He was always replying fast. When I arrived at the airport he was there to pick me up with my name on a sign. With all the excursions and transfers (he drove me to St.Louis from Saly, and back, visiting Touba on the way) he was always waiting for me before the agreed pick-up time. For every excursion he had made arrangements beforehand, a boat trip or a local guide or a lunch ready. Also I found Malick very flexible: I changed pick-up times and plans on several occasions, but with Malick everything is possible. Just ask. On a second trip to Senegal coming from the South he picked me at the ferry in Barra, Gambia. Besides French and English he is also fluent in Spanish. Anyway, as a solo female traveller I felt very comfortable with Malick driving and guiding me and I can absolutely recommend him!Verified

Parla español i català perfecte a més d’altres llengües. Vam realitzar una visita amb ell, la reserva de bandia. Ens ho va gestionar tot, entrades, el guia i ens va fer la visita molt amena. És una persona molt recomanable en Senegal per a qualsevol cosa que necessites.
