Excursion to the Saloum Delta

Immerse yourself in an exceptional ecosystem on our excursion to the Saloum Delta.

The Sine-Saloum natural region is located in Senegal, north of the Gambian enclave and south of the Petite-Côte. The Sine-Saloum National Park extends around the delta formed by the confluence of the Sine and Saloum rivers, and the saltwater inlets that extend inland. The Sine-Saloum delta is home to three large groups of islands (Fathala, Gandoune and Betenty) separated from one another by mangrove channels known as "bolongs". The flora of the Sine-Saloum includes over 180 plant species.
