Program
Day 1
Arrival at the airport; transfer to Salim's hotel at Lac-Roe or similar; overnight stay.
Day 2
After breakfast, visit of the pink lake, visit of the salt activity, 4x4 ride on the sand dunes to the beach. Then on to Saint-Louis, with lunch en route at the customer's expense. Overnight at hotel Cap Saint-Louis on half-board basis.
Day 3
After breakfast, visit to the world's 3rd largest bird sanctuary, Djoudj. Return to Saint Louis for a carriage tour of the historic island of Saint-Louis, then on to the KOBA ecolodge. Arrival at the camp, installation in the huts, after a good rest, visit of the Fulani villages, overnight stay on half board basis.
Day 4
After breakfast, departure for a visit to the mosque of the holy city of Touba, led by a local guide and disciple of the Mouride brotherhood. Then on to the Saloum Delta at Le Palmarin ecolodge, overnight on a half-board basis.
Day 5
After breakfast, excursion by pirogue on the Saloum River, visit to the mangrove, birds, bolons and finish with a visit to the island of Mar-Loj. After lunch, still at the customer's expense, visit the largest Baobab tree on the way before arriving in Saly at the Hotel Les Bougainvillées or similar, with half-board accommodation.
Day 6
Free day at the hotel, relaxing on the beach, swimming pool + possibility of getting around Saly
Day 7
Excursion to Joal-Fadiouth, visit to the shellfish island and the marine cemetery where Muslims and Christians are buried. Lunch on site, then return to the hotel by 5 p.m.
Day 8
Depending on flight times, transfer to the airport End of services
